Cocciside Syrup

Description

Composition:

Each 100 gm powder contains:

Sulphaquinoxaline BP                                     5 gm

Sodium Salicylate BP                                      5 gm

Pyrimethamine BP                                          1 gm

Vitamin K3 BP                                                20 mg

 

Indication:

Effective against protozoan infection in poultry and birds. It is used mostly in treatment and prevention of coccidiosis. Cocciside is also used in intestinal hemorrhage due to ulcer.

Dosage and administration:

Treatment:

1.5 ml per liter of drinking water for 3-5 consecutive days. The medicated water should be freshly prepared each day & the birds must not be allowed any excess water during treatment through the medicated water.

Prevention:

1.5 ml per liter of drinking water in first day, 1.5 ml per 2 liter of water in second & third day, 1.5 ml per 4 liter of water in next 3-4 consecutive days respectively.

Precaution:

Adjust dosage from registered veterinarian for use in other animals.

Withdrawal period:

Meat for 10 days.
