Description:
Tilmicosin Phosphate is a potent broad-spectrum antimicrobial drug and anti-inflammatory drug used for the treatment of disease caused by Gram-positive bacteria, Gram-negative bacteria, mycoplasma, spirochete, actinomyces pleuropneumonia, Pasteurella etc.
Tilmicosin is a macrolide antibiotic. It is used in veterinary medicine for the treatment of bovine respiratory disease and poultry respiratory disease associated with Mannheimia haemolytica.

Tilmicosin Phosphate BP

COMPOSITION
Each ml contains Tilmicosin Phosphate BP 250 mg.

MODE OF ACTION
E-Til® Vet Solution (Tilmicosin Phosphate BP 250 mg) binds with bacterial 50S ribosomal subunit and affects its protein synthesis. It is typically regarded as being bacteriostatic, but at high concentrations it can be bactericidal. When administered orally Tilmicosin is rapidly absorbed and slowly eliminated from the body. Tilmicosin distributes rapidly to the target lung tissues as early as 6 hours and peak at about 5 days after the commencement of treatment.

INDICATION
Poultry:
E-Til® Vet Solution is used for the treatment of respiratory infection associated with Tilmicosin susceptible microorganisms in chickens and turkeys such as –
• Mycoplasma spp.
• Pasteurella spp.
• Actinobacillus spp.
• Actinomyces spp.

Calves:
E-Til® Vet Solution is used for the treatment of bovine respiratory disease caused by Mycoplasma (bovis, dispar), Pasteurella (multocida, haemolytica) etc.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Poultry: 1 mL / 3 Liter of drinking water for 3-5 days.
Calves/Sheep/Goat: 1 mL / 20 kg body weight for consecutive 3-5 days.

Or, as per direction of Registered Veterinarian.

CONTRAINDICATION
Concurrent use of E-Til® Vet Solution with other macrolide, lincosamides, fluoroquinolone & penicillin is not advised.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to Tilmicosin.

SIDE EFFECT
Sometimes transient reduction of water intake may occur.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Broiler: 12 days
Turkey: 19 days

STORAGE
Store away from light in a cool and dry place.
Keep all medicines out of reach of children.

PACK SIZE
10 ml and 100 ml plastic bottle.
