COVIT-M® – Cod Liver Oil Enriched Multivitamin BP

COMPOSITION

Available in single dosage form:

COVIT- M® Syrup: Each 5 ml syrup contains Vitamin A (As propionate) BP 2000 IU, Vitamin D3(As cholecalciferol) BP 200 IU, Vitamin C (As Ascorbic acid) BP 17.50 mg, Vitamin B1(Thiamine Hydrochloride) BP 0.70 mg, Vitamin B2(As Riboﬂavin-5 Phosphate Sodium) BP 0.85 mg, Vitamin B6(As Pyridoxine Hydrochloride) BP 0.35 mg, Vitamin E (As Alpha Tocopherol Acetate) BP 1.50 mg Nicotinamide BP 9.00 mg, Cod Liver Oil BP 100 mg.

INDICATION

COVIT- M® syrup is indicated for the treatment and prevention of vitamin and mineral deficiencies associated restricted diets, improper food intake and decreased absorption. It is also mediated in children with increased

requirements for vitamins due to acute and chronic diseases, vitamin lacking symptom for growing child, lack of appetite child, including patient under rehabilitating period.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

COVIT- M® Syrup

Infant (1-12 months): ½ teaspoonful (2.5ml) per day Children (1-4 years): 1 teaspoonful (5ml) per day

Children (4 years up): 1½ teaspoonful (7.5 ml) per day. Or by the prescription of a registered physician.

SIDE EFFECTS

Side effects have been reported with specific vitamins. Allergic rash and other idiosyncrasies are rarely reported.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

This preparation is contraindicated in patients hypersensitive to any component of the drug.

PRECAUTIONS & WARNINGS

This medicine may accumulate in the body which causes danger. In that case, it should not be taken after consumption of over dosage or use quantity of milk or orange juice before mealtimes.
