COMPOSITION
Each 5ml Contains-
Thiamine HCL (Vit.B1) BP 5mg
Pyridoxine HCL (Vit. B6) BP 2mg
Riboflavin 5-Phosphate Sodium
(eq. Vit. B2 – 2mg) BP 2.74mg
Nicotinamide (Vit. B3) BP 20mg
INDICATIONS
ETHIPLEX® Syrup is indicated for the treatment and prevention of vitamin B deficiencies. Also indicated in Glossitis, Stomatitis, and Beriberi polyneuritis.
PHARMACOLOGY
Act as a primary regulator of metabolic processes and play a role in energy transformation, usually acting as co-enzymes in enzymatic systems once improve immune functions & normalize bodily functions.
DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION
Adults & Children: 1-2 teaspoonful thrice daily.
Infant: 1 teaspoonful once daily or as recommended by the physician.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Vitamin-B complex is contraindicated in individual known to be hypersensitive to any of its active ingredients.
PRECAUTIONS
Should be given cautiously to patients taking levodopa as pyridoxine reduces the effect of Levadopa
SIDE EFFECTS
Generally Vitamin B is well tolerated. Rarely allergic reaction.
PREGNANCY & LACTATION
It is safe to use Vitamin-B complex in pregnancy and lactation.
OVERDOSAGE
Symptoms of overdose may include severe nausea, vomiting, dizziness, convulsions and coma after apparent recovery. In case of overdose, one should seek emergency medical attention.
DRUG INTERACTION
Tell your doctor if you take any other medication, including nonprescription. This medication may affect certain urine lab tests, including some urine glucose tests. As little as 5 mg pyridoxine daily can decrease the efficacy of levodopa in the treatment of Parkinsonism. Therefore, Ethivit B is not recommended for patients undergoing such therapy
