ETHIVIT-B® – Vitamin B Complex BP
COMPOSITION
Each tablet contains Thiamine Hydrochloride (B1) BP 5mg, Riboflavine (B2) BP 2mg, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (B6) BP 2mg, Nicotinamide BP 20mg
INDICATION
Ethivit B® complex is used as a nutritional supplement in vitamin B deficiencies either single or multiple. Deficiency of vitamin B includes glossitis, stomatitis, cheilosis, plyneuritis, beri-beri, pellagra and vascularization of cornea. It is also taken along with antibiotic or antitubercular drugs
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Recommended dose is 1-2 tablets, 3 times daily or any other dosage as directed by a registered physician.
CONTRAINDICATION
Vitamin-B complex is contraindicated in patients hypersensitive to any of its components.
PRECAUTIONS
Should be given cautiously to patients taking levodopa as pyridoxine reduces the effect of Levadopa.
SIDE EFFECTS
Generally, Vitamin B is well tolerated.
PREGNANCY & LACTATION
It is safe to use Vitamin-B complex in pregnancy and lactation
DRUG INTERACTION
Tell your doctor if you take any other medication, including nonprescribed. This medication may affect certain urine lab tests, including some urine glucose tests. As little as 5 mg pyridoxine daily can decrease the efficacy of levodopa in the treatment of Parkinsonism. Therefore, Ethivit B® is not recommended for patients undergoing such therapy.

Store in a cool, dry place & below 30° C. Keep away from light and out of reach of children.
