Chemical Name:
Nalidixic Acid: 1-Ethyl-7-methyl-4-oxo-[1,8]naphthyridine-3-carboxylic acid
Neomycin sulphate: (2R,3S,4R,5R,6R)-5-amino-2-(aminomethyl)-6-[(1R,2R,3S,4R,6S)-4,6-diamino-2-[(2S,3R,4S,5R)-4-[(3R,4R,5S,6S)-3-amino-6-(aminomethyl)-4,5-dihydroxyoxan-2-yl]oxy-3-hydroxy-5-(hydroxymethyl) oxolan-2-yl]oxy-3-hydroxycyclohexyl]oxyoxane-3,4-diol;sulfuric acid.
Fenazone: 1,2-Dihydro-1,5-dimethyl-2-phenyl-3H-pyrazol-3-one.
Bromhexine HCl: 2,4-Dibromo-6-{[cyclohexyl(methyl)amino]methyl}aniline

Description:
Nalidixic Acid: It is a narrow-spectrum antibiotic that kills bacteria at high doses and inhibits proliferation at low doses. Nalidixic acid binds to bacterial DNA by inhibiting polymerization of DNA and stops synthesis, thereby killing the bacteria or preventing its spread. Nalidixic acid is used in infections caused by gram negative bacteria such as E. Coli, Enterobacter spp., Klebsiella spp., Mycoplasma spp. etc.
Neomycin sulfate: It is a broad-spectrum antibiotic. It is effective against gram negative bacteria and some gram-positive bacteria. It binds to the 30S ribosomal unit of bacteria, stopping protein synthesis and inhibiting bacterial growth.
Fenazone: It is an ideal pain reliever and antipyretic drug. Fenazone plays an important role in alleviating body pain and altitude sickness due to microbial infections in the digestive, respiratory and urinary tracts of livestock and poultry.
Bromhexine HCl: It is a mucolytic expectorant. It increases the secretion of phlegm in the respiratory tract and reduces bronchial viscosity, thereby providing relief in breathing. Accelerates the penetration of antibiotics from the blood into the bronchial secretions. As a result, the effectiveness of the mentioned antibiotics starts quickly.

COMPOSITION
Each ml contains,
Nalidixic acid BP 100 mg
Neomycin sulphate BP 35 mg
Fenazone BP 50 mg
Bromhexine HCl BP 2 mg

INDICATION
– In brooding poultry, it prevents from infection.
– In the control of poultry Mycoplasma (CRD) salmonellosis, E. Coli, cholera and necrotic enteritis.
– Suppression of nonspecific diarrhea in poultry.
– In the suppression of Calf Scour in cattle especially in calves.
– In the control of dysentery in cattle.
– Effective against E. Coli, salmonella, bacterial enteritis and diarrhea in cattle.
– Alleviation of respiratory tract infections in cattle.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Poultry:
Treatment : 2 ml/liter drinking water for 3-5 days.
Prevention : 1 ml/liter drinking water for 3-5 days.

Cattle, Buffalo, Sheep and Goat: 20 ml/ 50 kg body weight once daily for 3-5 consecutive days.

Or, as per direction of Registered Veterinarian.
CONTRAINDICATION
Nalcin® Vet Solution is contra-indicated to use in animals and birds that are hypersensitive to any of its ingredients.

SIDE EFFECT
It is a bitter tasting drug, if overdosed the animal and birds may drink water less.

USE IN PREGNANCY AND LACTATION
Not known.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Meat- 15 days; Milk- 2 days, Eggs- 7 days

STORAGE
Keep away from light in a cool and dry place.
Keep all the medicines out of reach of children.
